Urban Farming with Pocket City Farms
Are you lucky enough to be a Sydneysider with a back or front yard? Do you have a garden to tend? Maybe you’ve got a lovely south facing balcony that gets plenty of sun and you want to know what you can grow? Or do you have a spot down the road from you that would make a perfect spot for a little organic farm?!
Pocket City Farms is taking to Sydney’s neglected spaces, from spare plots to rooftops, in an effort to make good of that unused space – by growing fresh organic produce for the city’s residents! They are currently working on the construction of the first urban farm in Sydney.
So, What does it take to set up an “Urban Farm”? Adrian Baiada from Pocket City Farms had a chat to Mick to tell us all about it.
