Using AI: A world-first benchmark for measuring brain atrophy
Scientists from CSIRO, in partnership with Queensland University of Technology, have used artificial intelligence to develop a world-first benchmark for measuring brain atrophy. These AI created scans of the brain will be used to predict and help with early intervention neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s.
Dr Filip Rusak, one of the lead research scientist from CSIRO’s Australian e-Health Research Centre joined the Monday Daily to discuss this research further! If you would like to read further on the research, you can find it here.
