UTS Students Protest Closure of Chinese Medicine Course
Students have protested the University of Technology, Sydney’s decision to phase out traditional Chinese Medicine courses by 2021.
The university claims the courses haven’t made enough money, but protesters believe there are other reasons behind the decision.
The expected closure has put into question the future of the students, teachers and even patients of the on-campus Chinese medicine clinic, as they now are forced to look elsewhere to complete their studies and therapies.
