Vaginal knitting against online abuse
Australia got to know Casey Jenkins as the performance artist, who knitted a scarf out of her vagina during 28 days, representing the woman’s menstrual cycle. The video of the performance had more than seven million views and social media did not hold back on commenting on it, with most of them being anything else but nice. In her new performance‚ ‘Programmed to Reproduce’ at Melbourne’s Festival of Live Art, Casey responds to her online abuse.
