Vaping: the lesser of two evils?
In July, the NSW government implemented new laws banning the act of vaping in public places, bringing it into line with existent smoking laws.
But does vaping – an act which seems less harmful than traditional tobacco and which could potentially help users quit cigarettes – deserve to be treated the same way?
Sam Baran speaks to Dr Colin Mendelsohn, associate professor of public health in the school public health and community education at the University of New South Wales about the new laws.
