Vegetarians are here to grow
It looks like mushroom and haloumi burgers are staying on the menu according to a recent Roy Morgan study looking at the number of vegetarians in Australia.
The study, from 2012-2016, found that the number of vegetarians nation-wide has increased from 1.7 million to 2.1 million, while in NSW the increase has been even more dramatic – rising by 30%.
Joining Sam was to talk about these shifting trends and all things vegetarian was the Director of the Australian Vegetarian Society (NSW), Mark Berriman.
