Victoria Bans Mobile Phones from Classrooms
Ask any teacher what’s the biggest distraction in their classroom, and they’ll probably tell you mobile phones. Well, Victoria now hopes to help teachers, with Education Minister James Merlino announcing mobile phones will be banned in primary and secondary schools across the state.
To discuss the removal of phones from Victorian schools, The Daily’s Alex James was joined by Neil Selwyn, Professor of Education at Monash University.
