Victoria to Abolish Native Logging Next Year
The Victorian state government will bring an end to native logging and forestry practices next year, with regulations surrounding plantation forestry remaining unaffected.
The government will put money towards retraining native forestry workers, but the opposition and trade unions remain opposed to the changes.
