Victorian households to save on electricity bills
Victorian households will now save 112 dollars on their electricity bills come July 1 this year.
Thousands of Victorians are set to be relieved as the Essential Service Commission introduces a default price rate of 6.4 percent off on electricity.
The Victorian default offer allows consumers to access fair electricity prices and act as a reference point for customers.
I speak with Marcus Crudden, the Director of Price Monitoring and Regulation at Essential Services Commission about what this means for the rest of Australian states.
