Virtual Mars Mission
Mars has always been a constant source of wonder and intrigue. From pulpy science fiction to NASA programs, the red planet rarely escapes our imagination. You may of heard of the Mars One mission which sets to send several humans on a one way ticket to Mars, but that won’t be happening until 2031. So what is life really like on mars? The closest you’ll currently get is is a simulated Martian life in the polar desert of Devon Island in the Canadian Arctic. The Daily was joined by Jonathan Clarke, an Associate member of the Australian Centre for Astrobiology at UNSW and President of Mars Society Australia.
