Could voting online be the future of democracy in Australia?

How do you usually exercise your democratic right?

Do you walk down to your local school or community centre to vote in person?

Or maybe you prefer to vote early and send your ballot paper in the post.

Well, what if one day we could avoid both of these and vote online instead?

Last year, more than 280,000 people voted in the NSW election online, but federally, online voting has been ruled out.

But could this change in the future?
