Vulnerable people now can be Safe and Found in WA
The Western Australia Police Force and the Australia MedicAlert Foundation have launched a new platform called Safe and Found to locate vulnerable people who might get lost.
Around 1 in 10 people living with dementia or having a cognitive impairment will wander at least once in their lifetime, and having the resources ready to identify the person is critical.
Safe and Found has received positive feedback from users and some local councils are subsidising memberships for its residents.
