Warren Truss tipped to resign from politics
Warren Truss, federal leader of the National Party since 2007, is expected to announce his retirement today, but his party members are yet to confirm the speculation.
Mr Truss has been in federal politics for the past twenty five years, and Barnaby Joyce is tipped as his most likely successor.
Dr Stewart Jackson, a lecturer from the University of Sydney Department of Government and International Relations, joined Kim Williams to talk about Mr Truss’s possible retirement.
