Dance is something that is universally present in all of our lives. From those ballet classes you took as a kid to partying with your friends to your favourite song. Maybe you tried following the moves to some iconic dance movies like Step Up, Centre Stage or Bring It On. Well if you took those movies and rolled it into one you would get Watch Me Dance, a new stage show that is on this weekend. Watch Me Dance tells the story of a group of misfit dancers who come together to chase their dream of a second chance in the dance world. We had Kathy Petrakis, the writer and director of Watch Me Dance to talk about her show which is on this weekend from the 27th to the 29th of September at the ARA Darling Quarter Theatre in Darling Quarter.
