Waverley’s Gen Y Book Club
Red wine, good book and nice company – sounds like a relaxing mid-week break. And if you head to Waverley Library you could be a part of it!
On 17th February the library is starting the Gen Y Book Club. It’s going to introduce cool books to millennials and inspire people to read. The “reading list” features titles like Fight Club and On The Road.
The new club launch is part of the library’s effort to attract more young people, that started in 2014 with a “how to read like a hipster” section.
Sam Baran spoke to Simon Welsh, Event and Engagement Manager of Waverley Library.
