Film: Limbo
From Indigenous Australian director Ivan Sen (Goldstone, Mystery Road) comes a mystery set in the Outback of South Australia. Into the fictional mining town of Limbo arrives Detective Travis Hurley, played by Simon Baker, who is investigating a cold case of an Indigenous woman who went missing years ago. Battling his own demons as well as the injustice and obfuscations of a town with a secret to hide, Limbo explores the legacies of violence and loss faced by Aboriginal Australians and the lengths people will go to learn the truth.
A modern Australian classic in the making, Limbo is out now in select cinemas. Watch the trailer here.

Part comedy, part drama, the show follows Ben Wishaw who plays Adam Kay and his associates as they grapple with the emotional toll of their work and attempts to find humour in the mundane and the stressful. Darkly funny with some 4th wall breaking winks to the audience, this 7 episode watch will have you laughing, gasping and wanting more.

From Palestinian American comedian Mo Amer comes a series loosely based on his own experiences as a refugee in Texas and the hurdles he overcomes to achieve American citizenship. Co-created by fellow comedian Ramy Youssef (Ramy), the trials and tribulations of growing up as a fish out of water. Very funny and hilarious, Mo is not a show to miss out on.

Album: Girl With Fish
The second album from Pittsburgh based indie-rock band Feeble Little Horse is a short but intense hit of blissed out pop. While the 11 tracks only add up to about 26 minutes of runtime, the 4 piece group manages to generate some off-kilter pop as well as harsher noise that recalls their first EP and album. You never know where the songs are going and there is much fun to be had with the scuzzy rock sound that Feeble Little Horse brings to your ears.
Girl With Fish is out now on Spotify and Bandcamp.
