Film: Radical

Radical is a Mexican drama-comedy based on the Wired article A Radical Way of Unleashing a Generation of Geniuses by Joshua Davis that tells the story of Mexican teacher Sergio Juarez. In 2011, a new teacher, Sergio Juarez Correa, arrives at the poorly-run Jose Urbina Lopez Elementary in Matamoros. In an oppressive environment rife with drug cartel violence, students at the school suffer from some of the worst academic scores in all of Mexico. Sergio must take a radical approach to inspire the students to learn.

Series: The Lying Life of Adults

Based off the novel of the same name by Elena Ferrante, The Lying Life of Adults is an Italian coming of age drama. The film follows Gioavanna as she grows up in Naples in the 1990s trying to meet her aunt.
