As the film unfolds the lines between their vacation and the films they are writing start to blur, giving this relaxing film a air of tension as we strive to understand just wat film was are really watching. Album: Life Tax Darren Hanlon

Life Tax is the latest album from  Australian singer-songwriter Darren Hanlon. It was recorded in 2019 in the Northcote Uniting Church Hall in Melbourne. Hanlon is fantastic songwriter; he tells beautiful stories with an unmistakeably Australian perspective but never in a cliché way. Wayne recommends giving  this album a listen to hear a genuine person expressing themselves in some truly wonderful songs. Wayne’s top picks from Life Tax are ‘Uncle Viv and Aunty Phyllis’ and ‘The Spin’.

Life Tax is available on Spotify and Bandcamp.
