Film: Love Lies Bleeding

Directed by Rose Glass, this romantic thriller stars Kristen Stewart as Lou, a reclusive and quiet gym manager. Her life takes an exciting turn when she meets body builder Jackie, played by Katy O’Brian, and a swift romance blossoms between the two. Jackie asks Lou to accompany her to a body building competition in Las Vegas, but trouble begins brewing as Jackie gets pulled into a complicated web of criminality with Lou’s extended family. With a supporting cast featuring Ed Harris, Dave Franco and Jena Malone, Love Lies Bleeding is a sexy, dangerous and wild ride.

Love Lies Bleeding is in cinemas now. Watch the trailer here.

Television: Silo

Based on the novel series by Hugh Howey, Silo is a dystopian sci-fi about humans living inside a massive silo that reaches down deep into the Earth. They are not allowed onto the surface and are tightly bound by laws meant to protect them from some unknown threat that exists outside the silo, or does it? Rebecca Ferguson (Dune, Doctor Sleep), stars as Juliette Nichols, an engineer tasked with the upkeep of the silo, and Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation) as Allison Becker, an IT specialist. Together, they investigate the purpose of the silo and why the human community cannot leave.

Silo is out now on AppleTV+. Watch the trailer here.

Television: In Limbo

A comedy of supernatural mourning. Charlies best friend Nate dies aged only 38. You’d think the grief of losing his best mate was bad enough, but now Nate is haunting Charlie and needs help getting into the after life. Cue hilarious scenarios where Charlie has to keep his reality in check while Nate hovers around as a comedic commentator.

In Limbo is out now on ABC iView. Watch the trailer here.

Album: Boeckner!, Boeckner

Dan Boeckner’s first solo album displays the talents of a veteran performer at the top of his craft. The Canadian singer-songwriter is best known for his work with indie rock band Wolf Parade and on this album, he showcases his skills as a guitar virtuoso over 8 short and sharp tracks. Supercharged and heavy guitar work is combined with funky synth, mixing into an urgent dynamic as Dan’s lyrics muse on urban decay and the transformative power of hope. Riveting and upbeat, Boeckner! is a great introduction to a new body of solo work that will have fans both new and old begging for more.

Boeckner! is out now on Spotify and Bandcamp.
