TV: Douglas by Hannah Gadsby

This one hour and fifteen minutes one-person comedy show is filled with clever comedy written by Australian comedian Hannah Gadsby, and debuted in 2019. The show follows on the success of her previous show Nanette which has helped Gadsby in expanding her target market internationally. Now available on Netflix, watch the trailer here. 

Documentary: The Beach – Warwick Thornton

With everything that is happening in the world today, this 6-part documentary series offers something relaxed and calming. A meditative and beautifully shot look at life out of the city, featuring cooking and fishing. It is available to stream on SBS on Demand, watch trailer here.
