Safeguarding Climate Change Progress

There are concerns Australia’s ambition to meet its zero emission targets will become harder if a Dutton government is elected. This follows an announcement on Sunday that the opposition was planning on altering the safeguards mechanism to loosen the obligations placed on high-emitting industries.
