The Weekly Wrap with Max Grieve
Max Grieve joined Cheyne Anderson to talk about all the big stories making news this week.
One story which continued to remain in the headlines was the fallout from the poisoning of former Russian spy Sergei Skripal. As result of the incident, many countries have expelled Russian diplomats and spies, prompting a similar reaction from Russia. Australia joined this group of countries this week as they expelled two spies from the embassy in Canberra.
Another story this week was Facebook’s response to the Cambridge Analytica scandal. Facebook was on something of a PR blitz this week as they try to win back customers who were put off by the privacy leaks.
And Julian Assange, long time resident of the Ecuadorian Embassy, had his internet cut off this week because Ecuador believe that his social media use could be harming their relationship with Britain and other European countries.
