Welcome to Night Vale: Live and back on Sydney
For six years now, podcast Welcome to Night Vale has been entertaining fans with tales of the eponymous American town, it’s weird inhabitant and the cavalcade of bizarre events that are guaranteed to occur.
In that time there have book spin-offs and there’s even a TV show in the works, but the live shows remain something that lover of Night Vale can’t get enough of.
This month, the podcast is back in Australia and visiting the Sydney Opera house on Sunday February 11 with a special live episode called ALL HAIL, promising “mind control, group chanting, and a local community calendar.”
Nic spoke with writer Joseph Fink about the show’s incredible success, the spin-off media and what really makes Night Vale tick.
