Wellbeing Report of Australia reveals varied recovery from pandemic
The two-yearly Wellbeing Report of Australia, was released by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare today, revealing how the pandemic changed the way we live and work.
The report shows a varied recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, and suggests life satisfaction and psychological distress have improved but have not returned to pre-Covid levels. It seems Australia’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic, including borders closures and lockdown measures prior to vaccine development, has been vindicated, according to the report. Another conclusion is more than 10 000 extra deaths occurred during the pandemic, according to the ABS.Produced By: Martin Davies
