At St Peter’s Sydney Park, a tent city has sprung up in opposition to the construction of Sydney’s Westconnex. The Westconnex Action Group protesters have been obstructing Westconnex construction workers who are planning on removing trees from the eastern end of the park. Jack Begbie visited the camp to speak to the protesters. Sydney’s Deputy Lord Mayor Kerryn Phelps also visited the camp and spoke to producer Emma 6Lancaster about the City of Sydney’s opposition to Westconnex.
