Western Sydney Airport Terminal Design Revealed
The release of the design plans for the 5.3 billion dollar Western Sydney Airport terminal last week, has given the public an indication of what to expect ahead of its opening in 2026.
The plans described by the government as a “once in a life-generation infrastructure project coming to life” feature a large terminal in the middle of 12 aircraft gates with 2 large runways.
The construction of the airport has been underway since last year, with the building of the runaways, roads and rail expected to start next year The flight design paths will stay hidden from local residents until 2021.
