Western Sydney’s Heavy Issue is the title of a report by the Western Sydney Leadership Dialogue, which aims to tackle the obesity epidemic in our city’s west. Released in the lead up to th federal election in May 2019 to highlight the need for urgent political action, the report recommends a five-point plan to help prevent the chronic health issue, which would reduce the pressure on hospitals and health services in Western Sydney.
