What new skills do you need to work for the media industry today?

A recent report by the Australian Communication and Media Authority, ACMA, reveals for instance that mobile phones have become the most popular device to stream video content at home, and that, unfortunately, fewer people listen to the radio (just under 80% now) although radio remains the most popular way for Australians to listen to audio.

These significant changes in the media landscape have of course many implications on the levels and types of skills required to be employable in this ever-changing industry.

Beth interviewed Jessica Micallef, a digital media professional who is also the head teacher in screen and media for TAFE NSW.
