What Would Happen if You Nuked a Hurricane?

Sometime last week, you probably heard the report that Donald Trump was thinking about nuking Hurricane Dorian which is currently threatening the coast of Florida.

Trump was quick to deny he ever suggested the idea, and the journalist was quick to defend his report; but in all this mess, no one has asked what would actually happen if you nuked a hurricane.

This morning, The Daily‘s Victor Petrovic was joined by hurricane expert Liz Ritchie-Tyo, Associate Professor of Climatology at the University of New South Wales, to do exactly that.

You can find Associate Professor Ritchie-Tyo’s writing on the subject at The Conversation.
