Strong winds and a dust storm has caused a cargo ship, the MV EVER GIVEN, to get stuck in Egypt’s Suez Canal causing a historic blockage of the international trade route and putting global shipping operations to halt. As well as providing the Twittersphere with plethora of memes, this blockage is having significant financial impacts, with us Aussies getting the brunt of it.
