What’s Going On in Venezuela?
Have you been following what’s going on in Venezuela? Following years of economic and political turmoil under President Nicolás Maduro, it appears the situation is reaching boiling point as the crisis-ravaged country could be about to topple its leader. Opposition leader Juan Guaidó has declared himself interim president and governments around the world, including Australia and the United States, are backing him – meanwhile, Venezuelans are set to hold more protests in coming days over the power struggle.
