Why are we stupider on holiday?
As the pandemic dawns on us, one unsurprising trait of human nature has come to light – stupidity. Anyone can behave stupidly, especially in unfamiliar environments where it is difficult to judge a specific course of action.
Monday Drive chatted to Denis Tolkach, Senior Lecturer at James Cook University. He came on the show to tell us all about human stupidity, and more specifically, why we are more likely to do stupid things on when on holiday. There’s a science to it, after all. Watch yourself on holidays, folks – be conscious of your stupidity, and try to do better.
