Why vegan?

Meat eating has put escalating pressure on the availability of water, land, fertilizer and most of the other limited resources of the planet. uless we change our diet there won’ t be enough resources for us all soon.

Another issue is the cruelty on industrially farmed animals – not only in slaughterhouses, but also in the dairy production.

Even though we might feel that our diet is a very personal issue, it shows that by our choice we can influence the future of our planet, the presence and safety of many animals on industrial farms and our own health.

Director of Vegan Australia, Greg McFarlane joined presenter Celline Narinli to talk more about veganism.
