We’re always told to brush our teeth for 2 minutes, twice a day. However when it comes to having bad breath, it could lead to serious health problems if you aren’t keeping up with hygiene practices. For those who can’t smell their own breath this could potentially lead to a delayed response in getting the help needed from a professional. Foods like garlic and onion are some of the worst foods to eat for bad breath so we spoke to Dr Arosha Weerakoon – Lecturer, General Dentist & PhD Candidate from The University of Queensland to discuss the causes behind bad breath.
