Join us for an edit-a-thon supported by Wikipedia Australia held at 2SER on Friday May 9th and Saturday May 10th from 10am – 1pm.

Alice Woods from Wikimedia + Liz Giuffre Academic and Senior Lecturer at UTS and Tina Quinn Journalist and Presenter of 2SER’s Fourth Estate will be presenting and hosting.

– Learn how to navigate AI, fake news, and internet noise to contribute to the world’s largest encyclopedia.

– You’ll gain skills in writing, editing, and researching, and start creating original content for Wikipedia.

– We’ll focus on under-represented topics like Australian content, contributions by young people, women, CaLD, and other minorities.

Ann Reynolds, Wikimedian will also be present! Ann has been recognised for closing the gender gap on Wikipedia.
