There are so many important figures from our past that we just don’t know about, and it can be a challenge to tell their stories years, decades or even centuries after they’ve passed away.

Historian Kiera Lindsey has told one such story in her new book “Wild Love”. It’s a speculative biography about an 1800s Sydney artist named Adelaide Ironside. Adelaide was the first Australian artist to train overseas and become a success, and and encountered such notable figures as Robert and Elizabeth Browning and the Prince of Wales.
