Will Men and Women Ever Compete in the Olympics?

With each Olympic games, and the steadily increasing performances of Women athletes, more and more are wondering when men and women will be competing against each other.

In 1992, physiologists theorised that we would soon be seeing men and women compete – yet at the recently finished Rio Olympics, this did not occur. Will we ever see men and women compete, and how might this change the games as we know it? For more we were joined by David Bishop, Research Leader of the Institute of Sport at the University of Victoria.
