We Will Not Back Down

After a 4 year fight, the Sirius Building was granted a short reprieve as the court ruled against the NSW Government’s plans for demolishing the building and turning it into apartments. That reprieve was short lived – just last week the Government has gone against the advice of the NSW Heritage Council and decided not to list the Sirius Building on the State Heritage register.

We talk to Shaun Carter, the chairman of Save Our Sirius about what this means for the future of Sirius and how they will continue to fight for its architectural and cultural significance.
