Will Trove’s Archival Treasures Be Lost?

Imagine this: it’s the middle of the night; you’re a uni student loudly click-clacking away at an essay or master thesis. In these final, heated weeks before it’s due, your companions-in-arms are the heap of books splayed out on your desk. But let’s not forget the tabs open on your laptop for an army of websites, including your university library, Google Scholar, and another with a logo in bold, green upper-case letters named Trove. But that logo might soon be replaced by the glaring words: Address Not Found. That’s if Trove doesn’t secure more government funding by the end of June. We chatted about the issue with Dr. Mike Jones: an archivist, historian, and collections consultant from the University of Tasmania.
