Is any drink on the planet considered more luxurious than Champagne? The drink of choice for fashion icons, F1 drivers, boat launches and English royalty; in the last few centuries champagne has become synonymous with celebration and achievement. To discuss the history of the region and the future of sparkling wine we are joined by resident wine expert, BSC: Wine Science student, Cal Lee .

N.V., Andre Delorme, Cremant de Bourgogone ‘Blanc de Blancs’ Chardonnay, Rully, France
Cremant is the generic French sparkling appellation with Cremant de Bourgogone being sparkling wine produced in Burgundy. This Blanc de Blancs is made from 100% chardonnay and shows all the classic hallmarks of fine sparkling wine. A great aperitif but pairs phenomenally with oysters and is guaranteed to impress at any dinner party or gathering.
EN: Rully is located about 380km south of Epinay, the heart of Champagne. Not 20km as stated on air.
