Wine making and the production of olive oil in antiquity
Archaeologists can reconstitute social organisation and lifestyles from the artifacts and remains uncovered during their search. Beth interviewed Dr Emlyn Dodd, an archaeologist who is specialised in the study of the production of wine and oil in antiquity. Emlyn is a lecturer in Classical Studies at the University of London, and he is also the Assistant Director of Archaeology at the British School at Rome. Emlyn is based in London and spends most of his research in the Mediterranean region.
