Wingaru – Aboriginal Education for Everyone

While NAIDOC Week offers us big people the chance to entrench ourselves within Indigenous culture, it’s the little people, our kids and our future leaders, who need the most education on First Nations history.

A leading Aboriginal education company, Wingaru develops and delivers programs and resources to support schools and teachers in the classroom, as well as organisations wanting to increase cultural competency in the workplace. An Aboriginal-owned-and-operated organisation, Wingaru aim to change the narrative around the issues impacting Indigenous communities via greater understanding and shared knowledge for the wider community.

Lesley Woodhouse, Founder of Wingaru, joined 2SER Breakfast to chat about the awesome things her and her team have been doing for young children across the nation.
