Kirsten Banks on Women Working in STEM
The United Nations reports that women continue to be underrepresented in STEM with female students making up only slightly more than 35% of the entire world’s STEM graduates. So what is it like being a women in a field overwhelmingly dominated by men? We were joined by Kirsten Banks, astrophysicist, science communicator and PhD candidate at the University of New South Wales to hear about her experience.
