Women’s Creative Hub
The Women’s Creative Hub is a project run by the House of Welcome, that seeks to empower refugee and asylum seeker women. Based in Auburn, this organisation works to foster financial independence, social connection and diversity. The hub provides women with a safe and inclusive space to develop handicraft skills, that can be used to create products and generate income. Suma Pillai, Community Development Coordinator from the House of Welcome, joined Drive’s Ruby Innes to discuss this.
