World Cancer Day: Inequity in cancer treatment
February 4th is World Cancer Day, a day to reflect on the harsh reality of cancer, and do something about it. Although Australia has some of the best cancer survival rates in the world, there is an undeniable equity gap in the care given to regional and indigenous cancer patients, threatening their lives.
Jess was joined by CEO of Cancer Council Australia, Professor Sanchia Aranda, to discuss the impact of World Cancer Day, and what we can do to everyday to help fix these issues.
