How much has radio been a part of your life? It sure is a big part of ours here at 2SER and it’s been around for a while now. Created in the early part of last century, it’s survived numerous technological changes and many have said radio would die out.

Tomorrow is World Radio Day, a day where people right about the globe celebrate radio and all the important work it does. Whether keeping you up to date with vital bushfire information, or keeping you company on your early morning drive to work – radio feels like it’s still got a long way to go.

Radio’s importance is only magnified when we look at its role overseas. To talk about this more, Mitch spoke to Ahern Media & Training’s managing director, Steve Ahern.
