Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day

Yom Hashoah, also known as the Holocaust Remembrance Day is a day where Jewish people who died in the Holocaust between 1933 and 1945 are commemorated. Usually, this day is packed with activities like services, prayers, candle-lighting, panel discussions, speeches and commemoration in every way possible but this year, it’s all happening behind screens.
To discuss this year’s commemorations and with a message for Yom Hashoah in our current world environment, we were joined by Vic Alhadeff, Chief Executive Officer of the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies.
