Youth To Raise Voice In Parliament

The voices of young people are often neglected, or not taken seriously by our Federal politicians. Many youths are also unsure about how to engage with politics to have their opinions heard in the first place. In October – Raise Our Voice Australia is running Youth Voice in Parliament Week – in which over 40 Federal politicians will read speeches to parliament that have been submitted by people under 21. To find out more about the campaign, and how young people can get involved – producer Stef Posthuma caught up with Youth Voice in Parliament week campaigner Ruby Bisson.
