Is YouTube Censoring the LGBTQ+ Community?

YouTube has been an incredibly important meeting ground for young isolated queer kids to find others like themselves and create their own communities. With queer youths making videos on how they came out to make-up tutorials for young trans girls, YouTube has been important for their development. But a new filtering algorithm has started blocking anything to do with the queer community from kids and anyone under 18.

The Daily spoke to Australian asexual YouTuber Damian Parker, known online as HeyoDamo, about the consequence this has for vulnerable queer kids.
