In Canberra, The National Zoo and Aquarium in Canberra just made it known that an ambitious new expansion that will effectively double its size. The idea of the expansion is to provide additional open range space for large animals like white rhinos and cheetahs. The morality and importance of this may act as a rorschach test for those in the world of animal welfare as some view this is a more favorable light than others.
